Our Team

We (Dietmar and Simone) are qualified accountants and tax agents who took over Books to Balance in 2014. Dietmar is a Certified Practicing Accountant and Simone also a qualified accountant. We both have extensive Public Practice and business experience, and have worked closely with investment advisory firms handing accounting, tax and superannuation for our clients.

Through this work, we have recognised that there is a real lack in quality bookkeeping in the marketplace. Clients were paying too much for books that had to be redone or were simply inaccurate. To combat this issue, we have now focused on developing and mentoring a team of bookkeepers who are able to service the business and accounting industry. Our primary goal is to provide a high quality product, and providing clients with information that they can use to manage their businesses and financial affairs.
Obviously all the statutory BAS lodgement, payroll and superannuation requirements can be taken care of. As we understand the requirements of accountants, Books to Balance can provide the accounts in a format that is easy to use and integrate into accountants’ systems.

We see ourselves as bringing accountants and clients together, as an integrated team which allows the client to focus on what they truly want to.

This means that the client pays bookkeepers for the bookkeeping, and the accountants for the accounting, saving on accountant's fees.

Our team of bookkeepers are fully qualified and experienced. We ensure that that the relationship between our bookkeepers and clients is nutured through constant mentoring, and we are personally involved in each monthly or quarterly review for each client.
